Recently, Hurun Research Institute released the "2025 Hurun Future Unicorns: Global Gazelle Companies List" and the "2025 Hurun China Artificial Intelligence Top 50" in Beijing's Yizhuang. In the list of the top 50 artificial intelligence companies in China, 19 Beijing companies such as Cambricon Technologies, Moore Threads, DeepBlue Technology, Dark Side of the Moon, and Zhongguancun Kechuang were listed, leading the country in quantity with 16 companies located in the Haidian District. It is reported that the "2025 Hurun China Artificial Intelligence Top 50" list focuses on Chinese companies whose main business is AI computing power or algorithms, ranking them based on the company's value. The value of listed companies is based on the closing price on January 9, 2026, while the valuation of non-listed companies is estimated based on the valuation of listed companies in the same industry or the latest round of financing. Cambricon Technologies ranked first on the list with a value of 630 billion RMB, while Moore Threads and Horizon Robotics ranked second and fifth with values of 310 billion RMB and 120 billion RMB respectively. The top three companies on the list are all related to AI chips. The organizers of the list analysis that the core reason is the continuous tightening of the export control of high-end AI chips by the United States, which forces domestic companies to accelerate the development of computing power independently. In addition to computing power companies, the focus of the list also includes companies specializing in large-scale models. Recently, DeepBlue Technology, which won the title of "World's Top Large Model", had several open-source large models that topped the international open-source list. Zhongguancun Kechuang, a vertical large model company, has a comprehensive intelligent body product matrix based on large models that has been widely used in the financial, industrial manufacturing, automotive, consumer retail, and civil service sectors.
