Beijing issues blue alert for strong winds
Beijing Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds at 15:54 on February 1: It is expected that from now until tonight, most parts of Beijing will have 3 to 4 level northerly winds, gusts of 6 to 7 levels, and gusts of up to 8 levels in some mountainous areas. Please be cautious. The meteorological department reminds the public to stay away from tall buildings, billboards, and temporary structures during windy weather to prevent objects from falling from heights. It is dry, so outdoor fires are strictly prohibited to prevent forest fires. For home heating, be sure to use electricity, fire, and gas safely to prevent fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. It is expected that most of the time in Beijing in the coming week will be mainly sunny to partly cloudy, with temperatures rising and then falling. The highest temperature during the day on February 4 could rise to 11 degrees Celsius, but around the 5th, it will be affected by strong cold air, bringing back windy and cooling weather. The temperature fluctuation will be significant, so the public should pay attention to the latest forecasts and take timely protective measures.
