The Shanghai police are cracking down severely on overseas returnees involved in telecommunications fraud, cutting off the criminal chain of cross-border fraud involving "output-return-reoutput". On February 1st, it was reported that the Shanghai Public Security Bureau has recently strengthened its crackdown on overseas returnees involved in telecommunications fraud. Through in-depth analysis and judgment of clues, they have identified multiple suspected telecommunications fraud dens in three overseas countries. They have successively arrested 277 fraud suspects who were active in overseas fraud parks, and have chased down 200 fugitives online, forcefully cutting off the illegal criminal chain and effectively deterring such illegal criminal activities.
