The President of the United Nations called on countries to respond to the "Olympic Truce" initiative.

The President of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Belberk, issued a statement on the 30th, calling on all United Nations member states to respond to the "Olympic Truce" initiative during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
