Former party member and deputy director Lin Moxie of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of Hainan Province has been expelled from the party and dismissed from his position.

After investigation, Lin Moxie has lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resisted organizational inspection; ignored the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, illegally accepted gifts; violated organizational requirements, did not truthfully explain issues during organizational discussions and inquiries, and did not report personal matters according to regulations; did not properly fulfill his duties, intervened and interfered in market economic activities in violation of regulations; becoming greedy, he turned public power into a tool to seek personal gain, used his position for others to profit in project contracting, government equipment procurement, and disbursement of project funds, and illegally accepted large sums of money.
