On the afternoon of January 29, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson attended the closing ceremony of the China-UK Entrepreneur Committee meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and delivered speeches respectively. More than 110 representatives from Chinese and British enterprises and institutions attended. Li Keqiang stated that China and the UK are important economic and trade partners with broad common interests. As long as both sides adhere to mutual respect, move towards each other, eliminate interference, and open up cooperation, they can achieve mutual benefits and create prosperity through mutual achievements. Currently, unilateralism and protectionism are on the rise, geopolitical conflicts are intensifying, and severely impacting the global economy and corporate development. In this context, China and the UK should continue to promote the spirit of breaking the ice and strengthen cooperation. This is not only a rational choice for the two countries to respond to risks and promote development, but also a responsible approach for China and the UK as major countries to work together to address global issues.
