Russian LUKoil agrees to sell most of its overseas assets to the Kerui Group.
Russian oil company Lukoil has reached an agreement to sell most of its international assets to the American private equity giant Carlyle Group. The energy producer said in a statement on Thursday that the deal does not include its assets in Kazakhstan. Lukoil said that the transaction still needs regulatory approval and the company is currently in discussions with other potential buyers, with the financial terms of the deal undisclosed.
