On Wednesday in the European market, the yield on German 10-year bonds fell by 1.7 basis points to 2.857% at the close. It traded in a range of 2.865% - 2.844% during the day, opening lower and remaining at low levels throughout the day. The yield on 2-year German bonds fell by 3.0 basis points to 2.100%, while the yield on 30-year German bonds remained roughly unchanged at 3.494%. The spread between 2-year and 10-year German bond yields increased by 1.168 basis points to +75.575 basis points.
