The National Trade Promotion Work Conference and the Sixth National Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade were held in Beijing from January 27 to 28. The meeting emphasized that 2026 is the year of the beginning of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The national trade promotion system should take synergistic efficiency as the main theme, adhere to the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee, establish and practice the correct political performance view, deepen collaboration and mutual empowerment, combine the improvement of efficiency and the exploration of potential closely, train hard to enhance capabilities, focusing on promoting comprehensive strict governance of the Party, serving China's characteristic major-country diplomacy, deepening industrial promotion work, expanding new space for two-way investment cooperation, improving the quality and efficiency of foreign-related legal services, participating in global economic governance reform, and constructing high-level applied think tanks, and other ten tasks, establishing a "1+5+10" work pattern, and compiling and implementing a high-quality "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of trade promotion.
