Auto dealers' association: hope Mercedes-Benz headquarters can respond positively to dealers' demands and make prompt adjustments to relevant commercial policies.
On January 28, the Automobile Dealers Association of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce issued a situation report: By the end of 2025, we have gradually received feedback from some authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers that companies are facing inventory excess, significant price inversion, long rebate redemption cycles, excessive business assessment pressures, and lack of exit compensation mechanisms in their operations, leading to sustained operational pressure. We hope that Mercedes-Benz headquarters will respond positively to the demands of dealers, and quickly make optimization adjustments to relevant business policies from the perspective of maintaining brand reputation and the long-term healthy development of the Chinese market. In the future, the association will continue to monitor the progress of the situation, maintain close communication with Mercedes-Benz global management team, Chinese management team, and a large number of Mercedes-Benz dealers, to help facilitate the proper resolution of related issues and jointly promote the healthy development of the Mercedes-Benz brand in the Chinese market.
