India reports Nipah virus cases, Malaysian glove stocks surge.

TA Securities Holding analyst Kevin Tan Kong Jin stated that concerns about the Nipah virus have driven up the stock prices of Malaysian glove manufacturers. Top Glove's stock price rose by as much as 7.5%, Hartalega Holdings by 6.2%, Kossan Rubber Industries by 4%, and Supermax Corp. by 8.2%. It has been reported that the Indian authorities are taking action to contain the deadly Nipah virus outbreak after confirming 5 cases.
