On January 28, the Fourth Session of the Sixth Chongqing Municipal People's Congress opened, and Chongqing Mayor Hu Henghua delivered the government work report, proposing to strive for the city's GDP to reach a new level of 4 trillion yuan by 2030, with per capita GDP reaching 140,000 yuan. Chongqing will basically establish an advanced manufacturing center with international competitiveness, an industrial innovation center with national influence, and a talent center in the western region.
