On January 28, Pang Xiao, deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that in the next step, state-owned enterprises will further promote the "AI+" special action with greater intensity. They will effectively serve as important providers of the country's intelligent infrastructure, important enablers of AI empowerment for various industries, and important organizers of industrial systematic layout. Firstly, they will strengthen investment attraction by planning the strategic plan for central enterprises in artificial intelligence during the "14th Five-Year Plan", accelerate the construction and efficient utilization of information and communication networks, national integrated AI computing power grid, domestic intelligent computing clusters, and promote industrial high-quality development through effective investments. Secondly, they will deepen scenario cultivation by focusing on key areas such as embodied intelligence and energy and exploring the establishment of an "AI+" industry community. They will increase the openness of scenarios to create more comprehensive major scenarios, integrated scenarios in various industries, and high-value niche scenarios. Thirdly, they will optimize data supply by accelerating the development and opening of data resources in key areas such as transportation logistics, smart energy, green low-carbon, and financial services under the premise of safety and compliance, to provide strong support for model optimization iteration, intelligent computing facility construction and utilization, and large-scale application of industry scenarios.
