The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council is currently studying and drafting a work document on promoting central enterprises to cultivate emerging pillar industries.

On January 28, Zhang Jianlong, the director of the Science and Technology Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council is currently researching and drafting a working document on promoting the development of emerging pillar industries by central enterprises. This will guide central enterprises to achieve a breakthrough development from significant project investments, leading enterprise cultivation, breakthroughs in key areas, to overall optimization of the state-owned economy layout.
