Will Danoff, the world's highest-producing individual stock picker, who has managed the Fidelity Contrafund for over 30 years and achieved impressive returns, will retire at the end of this year. Danoff was mentored by Fidelity stock picker Peter Lynch and joined Fidelity in 1986, taking over the Contrafund as the sole fund manager in 1990. Data shows that since then, the fund has achieved approximately 10,500% return, more than double that of the S&P 500 index, with assets under management reaching around $176 billion by the end of 2025.
