Yole agency pointed out in a recent report that the global DRAM memory demand in terms of capacity is expected to increase by 23% by 2026, with data center applications growing by 28%, contributing to over half of the overall growth. Yole predicts that the current upswing in the DRAM memory market will last at least until 2027, as the construction and expansion of DRAM wafer fabs typically take 2-3 years. Supply will only see a slight increase this year, with new production capacity expected to come in 2027.
