It is reported that since the implementation of the three-year action plan to accelerate the development of "replacing plastic with bamboo", with the implementation of a series of guarantee measures and key actions, the bamboo industry continues to develop in clusters, and the industrial ecology continues to optimize. Relevant departments and major bamboo-producing areas continue to increase investment in science and technology, actively develop bamboo products that meet market demand, cultivate a number of complete industrial chains and strong leading companies, and form an efficient utilization model of "squeezing every drop of bamboo". At present, there are more than 10,000 bamboo processing enterprises in China, the entire industry chain employs more than 29 million people, and the annual output value of the bamboo industry in nearly 10 counties and cities in China exceeds 10 billion yuan. China has nearly 8 million hectares of bamboo forests, producing 150 million tons of bamboo annually. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, China will further improve the policy support system, increase support for the development of the bamboo industry circular economy, and strengthen the construction of the full chain standard system for "replacing plastic with bamboo" products.
