On January 26th at 14:56, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. After the earthquake, the Gansu Armed Police Force Gannan Detachment immediately activated emergency response plans, quickly mobilizing 15 soldiers carrying 40 sets of rescue equipment to survey the disaster area and identify potential hazards. By 23:50 on the 26th, the soldiers had assisted the local party committee and government in clearing 3 landslide sections along the way, carrying out risk assessment tasks for 34 households in 2 villages, and setting up 20 tents. Currently, the soldiers are still on the front line of the mission, continuing to carry out various rescue operations.
