The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will have new policies regarding new forms of employment, older workers, and paid annual leave.

On January 27th, it was learned from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security that China will formulate the "Basic Rights and Interests Protection Measures for Workers in New Forms of Employment", further clarifying the basic standards for labor in new forms of employment and the labor protection responsibilities of enterprises; also introducing temporary regulations on the "Basic Rights and Interests Protection for Elderly Workers"; and promoting the revision of the "Regulations on Paid Annual Leave for Employees" to promote the implementation of paid annual leave system by employers.
