Micron is reportedly set to announce an investment in storage chip manufacturing facilities in Singapore.

According to three informed sources, American storage chip manufacturer Micron Technology will announce an investment in new storage chip production lines in Singapore to expand capacity and address the severe global shortage of storage chips. These individuals indicated that the company will announce this investment on Tuesday. One of them said that the investment area will be NAND flash memory storage.
