The election of a new president of the Asian Olympic Council.

The 46th session of the Olympic Council of Asia was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on the 26th. Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, was elected as the President of the Olympic Council of Asia.
