Mianyang: GDP to exceed 460 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year growth of 6.5%

On January 26, the statistics bureau of Mianyang City released the economic performance of Mianyang in 2025. According to the unified accounting results of the regional gross domestic product, the GDP of Mianyang in 2025 was 4600.66 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, an increase of 6.5% over the previous year. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 357.40 billion yuan, an increase of 3.9% over the previous year; the value added of the secondary industry was 1838.12 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 2405.14 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8%. The output value of high-tech manufacturing enterprises above a designated size in Mianyang increased by 10.4% compared to the previous year. Specifically, the computer and office equipment manufacturing industry grew by 68.2%, the medical equipment and instrument manufacturing industry grew by 14.0%, and the electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry grew by 10.9%.
