The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand announced that starting from January 26, flights from West Bengal, India will undergo comprehensive screening to prevent the entry of Nipah virus into Thailand. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand issued a statement on the 25th, stating that the screening will be implemented from 0:00 on the 26th, and will be adjusted according to the situation. Currently, the screening includes: airlines conducting preliminary screening at the departure airport in West Bengal, India, if passengers show symptoms that require testing, they will be required to provide relevant documents before departure and follow public health guidelines during the flight; upon arrival in Thailand, all passengers from the region must undergo temperature checks and fill out a health declaration form, with screening points set up in the jet bridge area of the airport.
