The third runway at Changsha Airport in Hunan province started production testing today.
At 7:26 this morning, a Cessna 560 calibration aircraft from the China Civil Aviation Flight Calibration Center flew over the newly constructed third runway at Changsha Airport to carry out flight inspection projects. This calibration aircraft is not performing regular flight tasks, but is conducting mandatory calibration work before the new runway is put into operation. In the coming days, this calibration aircraft will conduct high-precision measurements, verification, and calibration of the instrument landing system, navigational lights, communication frequencies, and flight procedures of the third runway to ensure that all signals are stable and reliable.
