On January 26th, Qianwen responded to the skepticism regarding the AI function of calling to make restaurant reservations being questioned as being done by a "real person". Qianwen stated that the AI calling has pauses in speech, intonation, and can even convey a bit of "emotional warmth". Behind this is a real-time emotion and intent recognition engine, which can identify more than 50 complex emotions within 100 milliseconds and match the best empathetic tone in real-time. The AI assistant's outbound reservation function has specific working hours, as product managers carefully considered the common operating hours of the catering industry during the design process, in order to better serve store operations with AI. Therefore, a consistent schedule was designed. Qianwen mentioned that features such as customizing the voice for making phone calls and ordering in foreign languages are currently in development.
