Guangdong-Macau traffic becomes more convenient, the fast lane of the cooperation inspection at the Zhuhai Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge will be expanded

On January 24th, it was learned from the Zhuhai border control station that in order to further facilitate the travel of people between Guangdong and Macao, after consultation and research with the Macao Public Security Police Force and approval from the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of the People's Republic of China, the scope of personnel eligible to use the fast customs clearance channel at the Zhuhai port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will be expanded starting from January 26, 2026. The expanded scope includes three categories of people: foreigners holding foreign passports and permanent residence permits for foreigners; foreigners holding foreign electronic passports and foreign residence permits of more than 6 months; foreigners holding foreign electronic passports, multiple-entry visas valid for more than 6 months in China, and Macao resident identity cards.
