Goldman Sachs Group has significantly increased the salary of CEO David Solomon to $47 million. Documents submitted on Friday show that the board has given Solomon a basic annual salary of $2 million and a bonus of $45 million, the latter in the form of stocks, cash, and equity. This is a 21% increase from his $39 million salary in 2024. This figure is also higher than the $43 million Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, is set to receive in 2025. Under Solomon's leadership last year, Goldman Sachs' global bank and market department revenue reached a new high, and management fees for asset management business also increased to record levels.
