Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Huang Runqiu, stated in an article in "New industrialization" that expanding the supply capacity of green products is an important focus for promoting green consumption. This includes establishing green and low-carbon product standards, certifications, and labeling systems, promoting integrated green design and manufacturing of consumer products, and continuing to increase efforts in green procurement. The government encourages the replacement of traditional consumer products such as cars and home appliances with new ones. There will be a greater emphasis on promoting the use of recycled and remanufactured products, improving waste recycling systems, and enhancing the collection network for waste materials. The government will also support the cultivation of leading green supply chain enterprises, promote the use of green supply chain management technologies, standards, and certifications. Additionally, there will be continuous efforts to carry out the series of activities under the theme "Beautiful China, I am a participant", exploring the establishment of mechanisms for public participation such as "carbon inclusivity", and promoting a lifestyle and consumption pattern that is simple, moderate, green, low-carbon, civilized, and healthy, in order to accelerate the development of a new trend in green and low-carbon living.
