Sources familiar with the matter said that the company plans to begin implementing the layoffs gradually as early as next week. This round of layoffs comes just months after Amazon announced cutting 14,000 jobs. At that time, Amazon hinted that there may be more layoffs by 2026 as the company continues to find "more room to reduce levels." An Amazon spokesperson declined to comment.
