Non-US currencies have been generally rising, with the Euro up over 0.5%, the Swiss Franc up over 0.7%, and the Australian Dollar and New Zealand Dollar up by around 1.1%.
On Thursday, the New York session closed with the Euro rising 0.54% against the US Dollar to 1.1748. It was relatively stable before 18:00 Beijing time, and then continued to rise, reaching a daily high of 1.1751 at 00:25. The British Pound also rose 0.51% against the US Dollar to 1.3498, while the US Dollar fell 0.75% against the Swiss Franc to 0.7897.
In the commodity currency pairs, the Australian Dollar rose 1.19% against the US Dollar, the New Zealand Dollar rose 1.09% against the US Dollar, and the US Dollar fell 0.33% against the Canadian Dollar. The Swedish Krona rose 1.12% against the US Dollar, the Norwegian Krona rose 1.08% against the US Dollar, and the Danish Krone rose 0.55% against the US Dollar. The Polish Zloty rose 0.93% against the US Dollar, and the Hungarian Forint rose 1.19% against the US Dollar.
