Google search AI mode can provide personalized recommendations through emails and images.
Google is helping AI models provide more personalized search responses by allowing chatbots to analyze users' Gmail and Google Photos accounts. Following the launch of Gemini AI last week, "Personal Intelligence" is now live, automatically adjusting AI model search results to match users' interests and daily lives by collecting information from their emails and photos without the need for users to manually create and adjust preference settings. For example, Google states that Personal Intelligence allows AI models to suggest travel itineraries by referencing hotel bookings in Gmail and holiday photos. If a user frequently takes selfies with ice cream, it can recommend ice cream shops. When shopping online with AI models, it can prioritize recommending products from brands that the user has previously worn or purchased.
