Bank of America CEO Moynihan once again not invited to the White House, absent from Davos reception.
The White House excluded Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, from the reception at Davos, which included leaders of other major financial institutions, signaling a rift between Trump and the CEO of the second largest bank in the United States. According to insiders and the guest list mentioned in reports, Moynihan was the only major Wall Street bank CEO not invited to Trump's reception at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday night. This snub marks the second time the White House has excluded Moynihan from such gatherings. Last November, Trump also did not invite him to a dinner at the White House for Wall Street executives. In contrast, CEOs of other U.S. banks, including Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, Jane Fraser of Citigroup, and Charlie Scharf of Wells Fargo, were all on the guest list for the Davos reception.
