Douyin announced 10 new measures in the field of safety and trust. Among them, in terms of platform governance, Douyin proposed to increase efforts to govern issues such as misinformation and online violence. Regarding misinformation issues, efforts will be increased to govern rumors, counterfeiting, and fabrication issues, strengthen misleading content alerts, and enhance the ability of debunking and seeking truth related products; in terms of online violence governance, the recommendation algorithm will be optimized to govern "anger baits" from multiple dimensions such as content and comments, and strengthen the identification of potential online violent behavior, and improve the ability to protect the rights and interests of potential victims of online violence.
