Yang Chaoren is the deputy district mayor of Huangpu District in Shanghai and acting district mayor.

On the morning of January 22, the Fourth Session of the Third People's Congress Standing Committee of Huangpu District, Shanghai held its 40th meeting. The meeting reviewed and voted to approve the decision to accept the resignation of Comrade Xu Huili from the position of District Mayor of Huangpu District. The meeting also reviewed and voted to approve personnel appointment matters, and decided to appoint Yang Chao as Deputy District Mayor of Huangpu District and Acting District Mayor.
