UBS Group CEO: There is no other choice for the world but to continue to invest in American assets.

UBS Group CEO Axel Weber said on Wednesday that despite escalating geopolitical tensions, the global community has no choice but to continue investing in the US dollar and US assets, pointing out that only a "minority" of investors are reducing their exposure to the US. Weber said at a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos, "There is a large part of the system that is virtually impossible to short the US dollar. There is no alternative to the US dollar. Diversification is now more important... but in the foreseeable future, there are no options." He also stated that while the artificial intelligence investment boom will not burst, "some investors will suffer losses," especially those trying to pick stocks of artificial intelligence companies.
