Musk stated on Tuesday that the initial production speed of the company's Cybercab autonomous taxi and Optimus humanoid robot will be "extremely slow" before gradually increasing. It is understood that Cybercab is a two-seat model without a steering wheel, pedals, and other manual control devices. The electric vehicle manufacturer had previously stated that Cybercab is scheduled to start mass production in 2026, while Optimus humanoid robot is "expected" to start production at the end of 2026.
