From hard connections to virtual connections, China's railway heavy load transport is entering the era of intelligent grouping.
On the morning of January 21st, the Baoshen Railway in Inner Mongolia staged a "hardcore test": China's independently developed 35,000-ton heavy-load group train completed the world's first automatic formation driving of heavy-load trains. Seven 5,000-ton freight trains, with a total length of 6 kilometers, worked together side by side through wireless signals, achieving the world's first multiple freight trains to drive in coordination without relying on mechanical couplings, only using wireless signals.
