The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued a number of policy measures to empower the high-quality development of transportation through artificial intelligence in Guangdong Province. Among them, it is proposed that Guangdong Province has achieved phased results in the field of unmanned delivery, forming a multi-level pattern of regional pilot projects, large-scale applications, and enterprise practices. Nansha in Guangzhou has taken the lead in achieving full-area open testing roads for autonomous driving, becoming the first unmanned commercial operation pilot zone in the city, attracting companies such as Pony.ai and Wenyuan Zhihang to implement various scenarios such as unmanned logistics, providing a "Nansha sample" for the province. Shenzhen is leading in the large-scale deployment of functional unmanned vehicles, mainly covering scenarios such as logistics distribution and park transportation. Through the innovative "rail transportation + unmanned delivery" model, it has helped to increase the efficiency of commercial district logistics by more than 30%, accumulating mature experience for the implementation of policies. Recently, Guangzhou Post Office has deployed 20 unmanned driving equipment for road testing, becoming one of the first express delivery companies in Guangzhou to obtain road test permits; these vehicles can adapt to multiple scenarios of delivery needs, and are expected to increase express delivery efficiency by over 40% in the future, further verifying the forward-looking nature of policy layout.
