The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued a number of policy measures to empower the high-quality development of transportation with artificial intelligence in Guangdong Province. It proposes to accelerate the research and development of artificial intelligence professional models and intelligent bodies, promote the practical application in key scenarios such as traffic facility status perception, operation monitoring, emergency dispatch, travel services, operation and maintenance, and industry governance. It also aims to build a professional knowledge base for the transportation industry, construct an industry knowledge graph system, support model optimization and intelligent decision-making; explore common technology platforms for the application of large-scale model technology, and improve the efficiency of engineering implementation. It relies on the digital transformation and upgrading of highway and waterway infrastructure, with a focus on breakthroughs in key technologies such as real-time perception of dynamic scenes, multimodal data fusion, intelligent control, and strategic optimization.
