The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province issues a number of policy measures for empowering the high-quality development of transportation in Guangdong Province with artificial intelligence. Among them, it proposes to encourage enterprises to carry out core technology research and development such as end-to-end remote driving cockpits, intelligent decision-making, precise prediction and control, and innovative products, to create high-quality datasets, tool chains, algorithm libraries, and promote the landing and application of large-scale models of autonomous driving. Encourage eligible cities to explore the construction of autonomous driving supervision platforms, support eligible free trade zones and administrative regions to take the lead in promoting intelligent connected vehicle demonstration applications, and support cities to prudently and orderly open autonomous driving road test applications in various scenarios and expand the areas for high-level autonomous driving applications.
