The Governor of the Central Bank of Indonesia meets with the Minister of Finance to discuss policy matters.

Indonesian Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that he met with Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo on Wednesday, just hours before the central bank's benchmark interest rate decision. The finance minister revealed at the presidential palace that the two officials discussed policy coordination. Purbaya said, "I will focus on improving the fiscal and economic situation, while the Bank Indonesia Governor will take necessary measures to maintain exchange rate stability."
