According to the meteorological department forecast, due to the impact of strong cold air, the temperatures in various areas of Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province have dropped to 2C to 7C, with the possibility of freezing rain and ice in the high-altitude mountainous areas in the north, and some local minor road icing. On the 21st, there was frost in the Jinzi Mountain Scenic Area of Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County in Qingyuan. According to the "Qingyuan City Flood, Drought, Wind, and Frost Emergency Response Plan", the Qingyuan City Flood, Drought, Wind, and Frost Command decided to activate the level IV frost emergency response at 8:30 on January 21. This is currently the only city in Guangdong to activate a frost emergency response.
