State Council Taiwan Affairs Office: "Science and Technology Island" will become a "Hollow Island".

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a routine press conference. Spokesperson Peng Qing'en said that the so-called "trade agreement" reached between the US and Taiwan is essentially a "selling contract" where external forces collude with the separatist forces of "Taiwan independence" to plunder the hard work of Taiwan people and drain the foundation of Taiwan's industries. This deal harms the future of both the people and industries of Taiwan. The massive $500 billion investment is approximately 80% of Taiwan's foreign exchange reserves, equivalent to each Taiwanese citizen contributing 68,000 New Taiwan Dollars as a political donation to the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to seek "independence" with the help of external forces. If 40% of the semiconductor production capacity is moved to the US, Taiwan's core industrial advantages will be lost, turning the "Technology Island" into a "Hollow Island." The DPP administration is desperately trying to cover up the steep price paid by Taiwan, using the hard-earned money of the people to please the United States, ultimately selling out and destroying Taiwan. The outcome of the US-Taiwan tariff negotiations fully prove that "independence" is a dead end, and outsiders cannot be relied upon. Without a strong motherland as a backing, Taiwan will only become a piece of meat in the eyes of external forces, becoming a lamb to be slaughtered.
