On January 20th, China Petroleum Group Corporation held a meeting of the natural gas supply guarantee leadership team. Zhou Xinhuai, the General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group Corporation, emphasized the need to further strengthen overall coordination, assign responsibilities effectively, make full use of artificial intelligence for accurate analysis and prediction of weather and demand changes, optimize and improve supply guarantee plans, and effectively carry out supply guarantee and ensure smooth operation of the natural gas industry chain. It is necessary to take multiple measures to increase resource mobilization efforts, carry out domestic gas field production according to plan, timely optimize gas storage and extraction plans, continue to coordinate import pipeline gas and LNG resource procurement, and comprehensively enhance supply guarantee capabilities and emergency "peak shaving" capabilities.
