The President of Lebanon said that efforts will be made to help the country escape from regional conflicts.

On the 20th local time, Lebanese President Michel Aoun stated during a meeting with foreign diplomatic missions that he will work to help Lebanon escape from regional conflicts. At the same time, the Lebanese government is committed to strengthening national authority and maintaining domestic stability. Aoun said that national authority must be established through the country's security institutions covering all of Lebanon. Currently, the Lebanese army has effectively gained control south of the Litani River and has removed a large number of illegal weapons, which is the most important achievement in the past 40 years.
