On January 20th, it was learned from the Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission that the "Beijing City 2026 Construction Land Supply Plan" jointly issued by the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission for the first time included urban renewal plan indicators. In 2026, Beijing plans to implement approximately 3240 to 3740 hectares of construction land, continuing to implement the urban spatial structure of "one core, one main, one sub, two axes, multiple points, one district", guiding the reasonable distribution and efficient allocation of urban functions, population, and resources among different layers. It is reported that the supply plan focuses on reducing quantity and improving quality, strictly adhering to the "three control lines" of arable land and permanent basic farmland, ecological protection red line, and urban development boundary. For the first time, urban renewal plan indicators are included, gradually pushing for the scale of existing stock renewal to not be lower than the newly added supply scale, encouraging the renewal of areas, and guiding the priority allocation of production and living land in street blocks with a certain construction foundation.
