According to data from the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, in December 2025, the national production of crude steel was 68.18 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%, with a daily production of 2.1994 million tons/day, a month-on-month decrease of 5.6%; the production of pig iron was 60.72 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.9%, with a daily production of 1.9587 million tons/day, a month-on-month decrease of 5.7%; the production of steel was 115.31 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%, with a daily production of 3.7197 million tons/day, a month-on-month decrease of 3.7%; From January to December, the national cumulative production of crude steel was 961 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4%, with a cumulative daily production of 2.6324 million tons; the production of pig iron was 836 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%, with a cumulative daily production of 2.2905 million tons; the production of steel was 1.446 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%, with a cumulative daily production of 3.962 million tons.
