Supreme Procuratorate: Uphold Economic and Financial Security in accordance with the law and strictly punish serious economic crimes.

At the National Procurator's General Conference held in Beijing on January 19, the Supreme People's Procuratorate deployed the full use of the rule of law to serve high-quality development. The Supreme Procuratorate requires procuratorial organs to uphold economic and financial security in accordance with the law, severely punish serious economic crimes, and promote the creation of a legal and business-friendly environment. The Supreme Procuratorate also requires severe punishment for smuggling and exporting strategic minerals, in order to safeguard national strategic interests; in collaboration with the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, to lawfully govern illegal intermediaries in the financial sector and severely punish crimes such as illegal fundraising and financial fraud, comprehensively cracking down on financial "black economies" to ensure stable financial operations and protect the property and assets of the people; to enhance efforts to combat money laundering, particularly targeting crimes such as the use of underground banks and virtual currency for money laundering. The Supreme Procuratorate also stated that in collaboration with the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it will deepen the rule of law in the capital market, improve the mechanism for prosecuting securities crimes, strictly punish financial fraud and market manipulation, and maintain the security of the capital market.
