Ministry of Transport: Last week, monitored ports completed cargo throughput of 261.318 million tons, a decrease of 0.55% compared to the previous week.

The Ministry of Transport released the national logistics operation situation report for January 12th to January 18th. During this period, the national railway transported 77 million tons of goods, an increase of 3.8% compared to the previous period. The number of trucks passing through the national highways was 56.117 million, an increase of 1.87% compared to the previous period. The monitored ports completed a cargo throughput of 2613.18 million tons, a decrease of 0.55% compared to the previous period, and completed a container throughput of 6.89 million TEU, an increase of 0.58% compared to the previous period. Civil aviation ensured 12,100 flights, an increase of 2.62% compared to the previous period. The postal and express delivery received approximately 4.073 billion packages, a decrease of 0.83% compared to the previous period, and delivered approximately 4.082 billion packages, a decrease of 1.85% compared to the previous period.
