Hong Kong Monetary Authority announces the latest roadmap for the CargoX project.

On January 19, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority released the "CargoX Project Proposal Report," putting forward 20 recommendations and a roadmap to modernize the trade finance ecosystem in Hong Kong. The report outlines the roadmap for implementing the recommendations, with the vision of providing momentum for a robust and internationally connected digital trade infrastructure, maintaining Hong Kong's position as a leading trade finance hub. The HKMA will work with relevant public and private institutions to carry out a series of pilot programs and actively implement the roadmap.
